Samuel C. Okorie, is a Social Researcher/citizen volunteer and passionate about rural (grass-roots) and community development, well knowledge in Digital Tech expertise, marketing, and sustainability.
Samuel has professional recognition as a climate activist/Environmentalist and social Justice advocate for women and children with over 3years of professional field working experience in the development sector on Climate/Environment, Education, Gender, and Social Justice advocacy.
Samuel is a certified climate and health educator; certified community facilitator for women and children, a global youth representative and speaker.
Samuel has spoken in global forums like World sustainable development forum, Youth Leadership Network, Vox media, POP Festival, MOCK COP26, UN Climate Change Dialogue, Warsaw Executive meeting on Loss and Damage, Santiago committee on loss and damage, and lots more; in addressing climate change, advocacy and grass-root mobilization.
Samuel is also a receipt of global leadership awards, recognitions, and appreciations. Samuel is a Spokesperson for MOCK COP26, an Ambassador for UNODC Education for Justice (e4j), Ambassador for POP Movement Africa, Ambassador for Global Youth Climate Action Initiative, Team partner at Eco City and Cheers, Team lead partner representing Africa on a global Campaign on Not Yet Recycled by JF media.
Samuel has global recognition from over 40 countries.
Samuel is a fellow of the Federation of International Gender and Human Rights, A fellow of GUNZ leadership Institute, a fellow of UNICEF Peace land, among others.
Samuel has also gained certification in many fields like climate advocacy, health, gender, peace and conflict resolution, advocacy, and Leadership.
Samuel is a graduate of the prestigious University of Calabar where he gained his first Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Anthropology with a second class upper Credit.
